U-Publish.com is more than a printed book. It is also an e-Book, a Web site, and a regular e-mail bulletin, each of which is an integral part of the whole. These features make U-Publish.com a "living book" that remains current long after printed editions go to press. The e-mail newsletter is just one way we try to keep readers up-to-date between printed editions. Below are links to previous issues.
Please note that they are formatted very simply, and reproduced verbatim, as they were released. Many contain quaint artifacts of "ancient times," such as references to an Internet population of 50 million, or a description of Adobe's PDF Merchant as "new" software. While mildly amusing from today's perspective, these items were true at the time!
Others are nearly historic, such as the announcement that Stephen King's e-Book Riding the Bullet had been pirated on March 23, 2000. This story reached the national wires the following day, and influenced some major events in the publishing world that followed.
We hope you enjoy this stroll down memory lane, and that future bulletins will help keep our readers informed about developments in the publishing world for years to come.
